Our project is taking on color! In the last few months, we printed 2,500 copies of our educational coloring book, with 15 useful and practical tips for hearing care.
So far, we have been distributed these books in different activities (including the Panama Book Fair) and in 10 public schools in the capital and the interior of the country. These have been given to second- and third-grade children; those who have been told about the importance of hearing health and invited to paint the booklet and read it with their teachers and parents. An important component of this project is that every book given away includes a FREE HEARING TEST when presented completely colored at our clinic. We also gave away free booklets at our clinic with each hearing screening test performed on kids during our first month of launching this project.
For the rest of the year, we plan to continue distributing the book in more public schools and in each of the foundation’s promotional activities. All this work has been possible thanks to the contributions we have received from you, so we want to thank you and continue to make you participate in the progress of this beautiful project.
