The document provides information on the results and products of the FUNCOMAS Technical Training Academy project. The report presents the results achieved during the sept. Dec 2020, in accordance with the established goals and indicators.
The main sources of information to produce this report are: the detailed monitoring of each component, the assembly minutes carried out, the memory aids of the Technical Committees, as well as the documents and plans prepared by the project team.
Communication Strategy
During the project, an important communication activity was developed, especially with regard to the qualification component of the debate in which the Quality Mission for Equality of Women in the Dominican Republic is found. So then, a presentation was made of the Quality Technical Education Report
A total of 500 copies of the management report were distributed, as well as information folders on the project.
Results of the project
The Beauty Academy has shown important advances with respect to itself in the level of achievement of its students' learning. These improvements become evident when the differences in the results obtained in the successive evaluations of previous years are compared.
All of this has been thanks to the support of our donors, and sponsors.
Also, the proportion of students who were above level 1 increased significantly. Similar results were obtained in the graduations. Despite the limitations of the pandemic, 30 poor young people graduated as professional beauty techniques.
Other activities
We Receive Food Donations: The donations came mainly from companies that donate products that are not suitable for sale for reasons that do not affect their safety.
The quality of the products delivered is a great concern for us, for this reason each product that reaches our team is verified to ensure that it meets the safety criteria and the presentation is worthy, before its delivery.
The food was delivered to people duly registered and verified as affected by COVID 19 or people with low resources. Recipients received at least one donation per month.
