Our ongoing efforts to support children who lost limbs following the earthquake continue to make a profound impact. The CATE (Child Amputees of Türkiye Earthquake) Project is dedicated to providing ortheses and prostheses, along with physical and psychological rehabilitation at the Child Wellness Center in Çukurova University. In addition, more than 2/3 of these children are also benefiting from scholarships designed to continue until they graduate from university, ensuring both their healthcare and educational needs are met.

Healthcare and Rehabilitation
Since the project's launch, we have provided 153 children with specialized medical care to restore their mobility and independence. As the children grow, it is crucial to monitor and update their prostheses and ortheses regularly, ensuring long-term functionality. This requires sustained efforts, and we are committed to meeting these needs with your continued support.

In late summer, our team had the privilege of visiting the Child Wellness Center and meeting several children benefiting from the project. One of these children, Melike, captured our hearts as we watched her run freely, her energy and joy a testament to the life-changing support provided by our invaluable donors. Melike’s progress reminds us all of the transformative impact this project has on children’s lives.

Education and Scholarships
As we approach the second academic year since the earthquake, we are thrilled to support 110 children with scholarships through the CATE project. These scholarships are intended to accompany the children through their entire educational journey, from school to university graduation. This comprehensive support system is essential for empowering the children to rebuild their futures.

Sustainability and Future Needs
As the children grow, their medical needs will evolve, requiring regular updates to their prostheses and ortheses. Continued support from our donors is vital to ensure both the healthcare and educational success of these young individuals. Your generosity ensures that they can thrive, both physically and academically.

We are immensely grateful for the unwavering generosity of our donors. Thanks to you, the CATE project has positively impacted 153 children's lives, including Melike, who can now run and play with ease. With your ongoing support, we can continue to provide the care and education these children need to lead fulfilling lives.

Thank you for your continued dedication to this life-changing project. Together, we will empower these children to overcome their challenges and build brighter futures.
