For those who remember, Swaibu was admitted at our hospital on the 4th of July 2017 after falling into a cooking oil and severly burning the back of his head, his arms and shoulders.
Swaibu, his younger sibling and their mother came to us from the main hospital in Jinja after intense pain that Swaibu was experiencing.
Thanks to generous Whisper's volunteers, we have managed to raise funds for a plastic surgery, that went successful, however Swaibu's aftercare has taken several months.
Swaibu was discharged from our hospital in December 2017, after almost 6 months, then continued coming every second day to change his dressings.
Today, almost a year after, his wounds are almost healed and he is so happy and smilling all the time.
Whisper still recieves monthly circa 7 patients who suffer from severe burns, therefore thank you for supporting Whisper.
