Your generosity is more than support—it is hope, healing, and a second chance for children who have suffered painful burns. Every contribution you make changes lives, and we witness that change every single day.
In Uganda, burns remain a serious and often preventable risk for children. Many of these injuries occur at home, sometimes when caregivers are occupied with daily chores. A simple accident near a fire, hot water, or cooking stove can leave a child with life-altering wounds. These children arrive at our Burns Unit frightened, in pain, and uncertain of the road to recovery.
Thanks to your support, we are able to provide life-saving care. Every child receives careful wound dressing each time they visit the hospital to prevent infections. We administer necessary medications, provide comfort, and walk with them through the healing process. We have seen children recover from severe burns, returning home stronger, healthier, and with renewed hope for their future.
Yet, the need continues. To care for more children, we urgently need to restock critical supplies—gloves, Vaseline gauze, and antibiotics. These items are essential for preventing infections, promoting healing, and saving young lives. Each bandage, every dose of medicine, every act of care is a step toward recovery for these little survivors.
Your generosity is not just a donation it tells a child that someone cares, that they are not alone, and that their life matters. With your continued support, we can save more children, heal more wounds, and give more young lives a chance to flourish.
Thank you for standing with us and helping us treat burns patients.
