Help Fund a Children's Burn Unit in Uganda

This is one year and two months old Andrew, who was admitted in our emergency room after a pot with boiling beans burnt him on the side of his body, being just 6 months old.

Andrew and his mother got Whisper's medical assistance only for the payment of £6 at that time, however the total bill for treating his burns every two days ever since, cost Whisper hundreds of pounds already, howeve the results are simply incredible. This is all possible to our beautiful donors! Thank you very much!!

His mother could otherwise never afford the expensive treatment in other hospitals, and Andrew would have a small chance of surviving.

When Andrew's wound on the arm healed, we discovered that Andrew cannot move with his left arm, so we have taken him for a consultation to the plastic surgeon in Kampala last week. The surgeon said he will need a plastic surgery, to enable his elbow movement. 

This surgery will cost 3,500,000 UGX (£744). Whisper's volunteer Cecilia (a nurse who is currently volunteering at our hospital) had raised half of the money, so Whisper needs to raise another £300 to complete the medical bill.

As soon as the money is raised, we can book the surgery for Andrew.

Andrew will be the third patient Whisper would pay towards the plastic surgery, altogether raising more than £,2762 in the last 9 months towards the skin transplant.
