You've supported this project because you understand that the hardest place to be a mom of an LGBTQ+ kid isn't always the loudest one, it's often the quietest one: a state where the laws are pushing her kid out of public life, book by book, bill by bill, with no one nearby who understands what she's carrying. Thank you for helping us find her.
That's the center of this work, going into the states where support is hardest to find and making sure no mom there is actually alone. Once she's found us, Empowered Parent Learning and our private, vetted network give her something whole, not just information, but other mothers who already know the road she's on. And because Empowered Parent Learning is now open to everyone, it's also there for the mom who hasn't found us yet, still searching alone at midnight for someone to tell her what's true.
We're consolidating our giving around Flame Keepers, our monthly giving program, so more of what you give reaches her directly. If you've given through GlobalGiving, please move your gift there instead. We need your help to keep finding her.
Because for a mom standing in a state trying to legislate her kid out of public life, what we're building isn't just an organization. It's a home.
