This August, Unsilenced Voices had the incredible honor of being featured at the prestigious Portland Fashion Week. Our survivor-made clothing, crafted with love and resilience by survivors in Sierra Leone, took center stage in a breathtaking showcase that left attendees in awe. This remarkable event allowed us to shed light on the incredible talent and strength of the survivors we work with, while also raising awareness about the importance of supporting survivors on their path to healing and empowerment.
The event at Portland Fashion Week not only celebrated the craftsmanship and artistry of our survivor-crafted clothing but also highlighted the resilience and bravery of the survivors who create them. Each piece showcased at the event told a powerful story of hope, resilience, and the triumph of the human spirit over adversity.
Your support has played an instrumental role in making this incredible journey possible. It's donors like you who empower survivors to regain their voices, rebuild their lives, and find their path to healing through art and craftsmanship. We are deeply grateful for your belief in our mission and your commitment to making a difference in the lives of survivors.
As we continue to grow and expand our reach, we hope to inspire more individuals and organizations to join us in supporting survivors on their journey towards healing and empowerment. Your ongoing support and dedication are essential in helping us achieve our goals and create lasting change in the lives of survivors.
Once again, thank you for your unwavering support. We look forward to sharing more exciting updates with you in the future and hope to see you at our upcoming events. Together, we are making a profound impact, one survivor at a time.
