Incubation Activities

Recruitment of SME's
Recycle Up! Ghana kicked off the incubation program for Cohort 5 since its inception of this project concept by mandatory recruitment process. Applications were received through an online platform. Sixty-Five SME's applied to be part of the Incubation Program. This was conducted between November and December 2023.
After follow-ups calls and email conversation applicants were shortlisted from Sixty-Five (65) to Twenty-Seven (27) based on business model, stage of the business, availabilty for training sessions and commitment to the incubation program.

In January 2024, our incubation program commenced with the critical process of interviewing applicants to select participants. This report outlines the key activities and achievements during this period.

Interviewing Process

- The month began with the interviewing of applicants for the incubation program.

- Twenty-Seven (27) applicants were selected to proceed to the interview stage based on their initial applications.

Successful Interviews

- All Twenty-Seven (27)  selected applicants successfully completed the interview process.

- Interviews were conducted efficiently, allowing for a comprehensive assessment of each candidate's suitability.

Selection for Bootcamp

- Following the interviews, emails were sent to 10 applicants who qualified for the next phase, the bootcamp session.

- The bootcamp, spanning 2-3 days, served as an informative session.

- Ultimately, 6 applicants were chosen to participate in the Cohort 5 incubation program.

Conclusion

The interviewing phase in January 2024 concluded successfully, with all Twenty-Seven (27) selected applicants completing interviews. This milestone marks a positive start for the program, leading into the next phase of the bootcamp session with Six (6) selected participants.
