Families receiving medical care and medicines

SAI medical program has provided no cost medical care to over 400 children in the past three months in Venezuela. SAI is providing medical care to children from low income families who do not have the ability to afford medical care. In addition, SAI medical staff visits different orphanages each week providing medical care to the orphans. Children are receiving full medical examinations, vitamins to boost the immune system, and medications.

Magaly is a young pregnant woman with three kids. Each of the children received an examination from the pediatrician.  Magaly was given a prenatal examination, ultrasound, pregnancy vitamins and suppplements. Since January, over 50 expectant mothers received medical examinations, ultrasounds of their babies, vitamins and supplements to boost the health of the mother and child in the womb.

Our medical team and pediatrician partners have been supporting and improving the health and well-being of children, teenagers, families, and all communities. We are maintaining our biosecurity protocol to keep our patients and community safe. Most of our campaign has been focused  on detecting chronic diseases at early ages. Due to low income and malnutrition of pregnant mothers, the high rate of neuropathology diseases in newborns has increased drastically in Venezuela. After our pediatrician evaluation, some children were referred for specialized examination that include laboratory testing, EKG, and kidney functions.

Thanks to your support, we are saving the lives of mothers' and children. Your support has made an enormous impact for families and orphans in Venezuela.
