Helping scavengers children & mum in Bali

This periode of 2025 has been a season of growth and transformation at the Suwung Community Center. We’re proud to share that all the children in our care have successfully advanced to the next grade level, showing great improvement in subjects like Bahasa, English, Math, Computer skills, and the arts. Beyond academics, we’ve seen encouraging changes in behavior from better focus in class and respectful interactions to stronger social skills like sharing and cooperation. Their progress has been inspiring, and it reflects the power of consistent care, encouragement, and access to education.

Thanks to your generosity, we’ve also been able to support the overall well-being of our community. This includes providing daily meals for the children, bi-weekly food packages for scavenger families, and essential hygiene items
Our free health education and medical support programs have contributed to better health outcomes for many families. Additionally, we continue to run programs that empower mothers with new knowledge and skills, helping them take meaningful steps toward a better future.

Currently, our center welcomes around 60 children every week, supported by a dedicated team of three staff members. Together, we remain committed to creating lasting impact in Suwung and beyond.
