It's been a year since the Russian invasion started and we are living unprecedent times, that require immediate response and support. TE AUD ROMANIA, as a charity, has a mission of supporting children and young adults in vulnerable situations with a focus on education. Being located 70kms near the Siret border, ever since the war started, we have turned into a support organisation for the Ukrainian refugees, with immediate effect.
OUR UA INTERVENTION IN FIGURES
Over 1,000,000 Euros dedicated to supporting Ukrainian refugees
10,000 backpacks distributed for UA children across Romania and Ukraine
Over 1000 kits distributed
1000 individual transit water purifiers distributed
Over 700 children cared for
Over 100 individual cases solved
Over 20 refugee centres that we are in close contact with to support with needs and requirements
Over 30 dedicated workshops for Ukrainian moms & children
10 LifeStraw community purifiers sent to refugee camps across Romania and in Ukraine

Two major sport events organised
From April 1, TAR has started “Steps towards inclusion”, a project oriented to intercultural dialogue for social integration of Ukrainian refugee children within the Romanian communities, financed by the Efectiv Civic program, developed by FDSC - Foundation for the Development of Civil Society in partnership with RAF - Romanian American Foundation.
The project consists of sports for integration interventions, communication skills and other non-formal educational programs for 100 UA and 100 RO teen beneficiaries.
Art as a Bridge: Exploring Intercultural Dialogue
During the month of May, we organized, alongside sports activities, collage art workshops, where, by using a variety of materials and techniques, over 85 participants could express themselves and learn about different artistic styles, whilst celebrating diversity and fostering friendships across borders.
Hope and healing through sport
Over 100 children, both Ukrainians and Romanians, gathered together to break language barriers, through a series of sports integration activities and non-formal education.
