Bongiwe, 28, lives in the isolated community known as Mgidza in the Eastern part of Eswatini. She relies on Kudvumisa Foundation's mobile health outreach for her health care. There are no jobs. She lives with her husband who is paralyzed and their 9 month old baby. They depend on farming a small plot to survive.
But the small plot doesn't always provide enough to sustain the family. Kudvumisa was able to supply a food parcel that will help them through the slack times.
Most of the people Kudvumisa Foundation serves through the mobile medical outreach live in isolated communities. Because of poverty and marginalization, they have tremendous hurdles to overcome to access primary health care. Kudvumisa Foundation is able to provide this care in their communities because of the generosity of donors who provide the means for our medical staff to reach them on a regular basis. From treating health issues to providing refills for chronic conditions, Kudvumisa Foundation is there: providing compassionate and quality health care to the isolated, impoverished and marginalized.
