The Kudvumisa Clinic in Maphiveni has seen an average of 440 walk ins per month so far this year. On average 240 people receive their ARV (Anti Retro Viral) refills each month either at the clinic or at the almost daily community mobile clinic outreaches. The ARV's are critical in suppressing the HIV virus. Lifesaving treatment!
The scourge of HIV is still not over. In April alone we tested an additional 25 people for HIV and found 3 positives!
These three were immediately referred on for initiation to treatment (ARVs) to our Kudvumisa nurses. Their ages are in the range of 10-39. A life altering diagnosis, but a life saving treatment.
While the ARVs and test kits are provided by the Eswatini government, everything else falls on Kudvumisa to fund. Your generous gifts and support help make sure this life saving outreach continues in an isolated, marginalized, and impoverished area in the Lubombo Region in Eswatini.
Thank you!
