Kudvumisa Foundation was founded on the belief that every individual, regardless of their circumstances, deserves access to quality healthcare. Our mission is to provide compassionate HIV care and support to children and their caregivers in rural Lubombo communities, while alleviating the financial burden on these impoverished populations.
With the generous support of our donors, we're working to expand our reach through increased outreaches, clinic testing, and treatment refill services. Our efforts have resulted in significant progress in identifying and treating individuals with HIV. In the last quarter, we successfully tested a number of individuals and initiated nearly 90% of thise testing positive for HIV on life-saving antiretroviral therapy (ART). While one patient was unable to be initiated due to a severe health condition, this demonstrates the effectiveness of our care in addressing the needs of our community.
Our teen club, a group for young people living with HIV/AIDS, continues to provide essential support, fostering connection, learning, and growth. Through this club, these teens are able to have a safe space to share their experiences while also having access to their treatment refills.
Beyond basic HIV testing and counseling, we also offer comprehensive care, including in-community blood work and free transportation to nearby health facilities. Our goal is to empower those infected and affected to regain health and support their families, preventing orphanhood and ensuring children can continue their education. By donating today, you're directly supporting these efforts. Your generous donation will help us expand our reach, improve our services, and continue to make a positive impact.
