Hogar Luceros del Amanacer, Nicaragua

Dear Benefactors:

These are the September highlights in Hogar Luceros del Amanecer:

• The foundation bid farewell to Spanish volunteers Tamara, Estrella, and Mercy with folk dances and awards. They concluded their work after participating in psychology, tutoring, and educational talks with staff and children.
  
  
• Staff from the Thomas Belts Zoo in Juigalpa conducted an educational talk. The children interacted with unfamiliar species and learned about their care and conservation. This created a valuable moment of closeness with the wildlife.
  
  
•  More than sixty children from the Bambi Center visited the Bosque Verde Nursery. They enjoyed an afternoon of environmental education with talks, games, and planting plants. The goal was to raise environmental awareness and inspire future initiatives.
  
  
• More than five children began a new rope-based craft class. The goal is to motivate them to pursue a craft in their free time. This encourages entrepreneurship from a young age.
  
  
• Our beneficiaries participated in the patriotic parades, integrated into their schools. They wore their academic excellence ribbons, joyfully and patriotically demonstrating their significant achievements. Their participation was a source of pride for the foundation.
