Receiving your help has been crucial for the Colombian kids we support, especially in this very difficult period: indeed, the emergency caused by the virus has severely hit the country as a whole but its consequences are even more challenging for the most vulnerable.
As of today, Colombia has passed 1.1 million confirmed cases of Covid-19 and the pandemic has determined 32,000 deaths in the country. Many people, and especially poor families and children, are experiencing hardship due to the closure of economic activities and are struggling to satisfy basic needs.
However, we have been able to guarantee the continuation of activities and workshops for our kids who can thus keep benefiting from education. Our local contacts are managing the situation by providing a safe environment satisfying the requirements imposed at a governmental level.
Achieving this result wouldn't have been possible without your help. Providing assistance to our Colombian children is even more important now, and we need you by our side to face this challenge!
