Over the past few months, Adjah Cancer Support Ghana has continued making steady progress toward establishing the Home of Hope — a safe, supportive temporary shelter for children undergoing cancer treatment and their families.
We have completed the initial planning phase, including identifying a suitable location and engaging local partners to support the project. Donations received through GlobalGiving have helped us provide temporary accommodation and nutritional support to several families who otherwise would have struggled to stay close to treatment centers.
In addition, our team has been conducting hospital visits to reach more children in need, offering emotional support, and distributing care packages that include food items, hygiene kits, and basic medical supplies.
Our next steps include securing additional funding to begin renovation and furnishing of the Home of Hope facility. This will allow us to expand our reach and provide consistent, dignified support for children with cancer and their caregivers.
We sincerely thank our donors and supporters for their continued generosity. Together, we are bringing comfort, care, and hope to children fighting cancer in Ghana.
