Dear Supporters,
We are excited to share an update on the “Home of Hope” project, which provides a safe and supportive place for children undergoing cancer treatment in Ghana. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve made meaningful progress over the past few months.
Key Highlights:
Accommodation & Support: We provided temporary housing and emotional support to 9 children and their caregivers traveling from rural areas for treatment in Ho and Accra. This safe space has been vital in easing the burden on families and improving treatment adherence.
Nutritious Meals & Essentials: Each child received daily meals and basic supplies to support their strength and well-being during this difficult time.
Psycho-social Care: Our volunteers and staff organized recreational activities and counseling sessions, helping children cope emotionally and stay hopeful through their journey.
What’s Next:
We are currently working to expand our facilities to accommodate more families and improve the living space with child-friendly amenities. Your continued support will help us reach more children in need and provide the care they deserve.
From all of us at Adjah Cancer Support Ghana, thank you for giving these children a place of hope and healing.
With gratitude,
The Adjah Cancer Support Ghana Team
