Greetings Friends,
We have what could have been a tragic story turned into a beautiful outcome for a sweet dog whom we named Christi. Our vets were notified on Facebook of a dog in a cemetery who was suffering terribly. No one was able or willing to help him. Our vet tech went to the cemetery to find him and bring him to the Center of Hope. This poor soul was suffering terribly from a broken leg, starvation, anemia, and eye worms. He was immediately put on pain medication and treatment. He has no home, no one to pay for his treatments or care, boarding and recovery. This was not the crucial element for us at the time, the most important thing was to help Christi.
Christi needed intricate surgery for his broken leg, treatment for the eye worms, special food, vaccines, and deparasiting for intestinal worms, fleas and ticks. He will also need lots of recovery time at the Center of Hope.
Thanks to YOUR support we can help animals like Christi. We cannot predict when a new emergency involving an animal in crisis will arise. This is why your support is so vital to our Homeless Animals Hospital program.
Please see the photos of Christi. He is also in need of a home.
Thank you friends! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year !
