It's hard being an orphan, especially when you are injured and there
is no money to help you. That's why we ask for your help for
our Homeless Animals Hospital Program.
This young girl is not much more than a puppy herself. She was
pregnant and her puppies were dead inside her. She also had
pyometra and needed immediate emergency surgery to save her
life.
Moustache was found with 2 severely broken legs and brought
to Center of Hope. His bones were so damaged he needed
external fixators.
We received this poor girl with a massive tumor. She had been
living on the streets and a good Samaritan found was able to bring
her to us. Not only was her tumor removed, but her rescuer
adopted her.
We also welcomed this little mange puppy, brought in by a local
rescuer for help under our program. She was freezing and full of
internal and external parasites, as well as extremely malnourished.
In the latest news:
The new Animal Care Wing at Center of Hope opened on
October 18. We held a Spayathon for 114 cats and dogs on
opening day with our partners from Ilfov County (Bucharest and
vicinity). The county has collaborated with RAR to provide spays
and neuters.
Our total spays and neuters as of October 31 are 106,271 dogs and
cats that will never add to the unwanted animal situation in
Romania.
