Homeless Animals Hospital Patients

Dear Friends,

We’d be lying if we said everything is going well. There are those days (sometimes even weeks) when everything seems to be going wrong all at once.  For over eight years since the Center of Hope - Spital Veterinar Piteasca has been built and our Homeless Animals Hospital Program started using Center of Hope for our headquarters , there isn't a day that goes by without sad cases, but sometimes it hits in waves that you don't know where to get the strength to go on.

Every morning you get up and feel that heavy realization: today decisions have to be made again about life or death. It has almost become normal, though it should never be. Dogs and cats are brought in daily at the Center of Hope, needing urgent medical attention.

But lately they don't come in occasionally anymore. No, they are pouring in. One is weaker, even more desperate, even more critical than the other. And every animal has the right to care... But caring costs money, time and energy. We don't like to ask for help. Certainly not in every setback. But sometimes it can't be otherwise.

The costs are rising out of the pan and how much we'd like to... we can't continue to help all dogs and cats by ourselves. We try to protect you from the saddest images, the raw reality, the despair that we regularly feel. But once in a while we have to share, because it is simply too heavy to carry alone.

We hope you can help us.
