Greetings Friends,
Since 2013, Romania Animal Rescue has been running the first social program for animals in Romania, the Homeless Animals Hospital Program.
When we launched this program, we had no idea what the future would hold. We guessed a perhaps a hundred a year would come through our doors in need of this special service..... Now we are treating approximately 4000 desperate cases each year at Center of Hope Hospital near Bucharest and on mobile campaigns with our mobile hospital caravan. We have spayed and neutered over 156,000 dogs and cats.
As you can imagine, this requires unbelievable costs and work for our charity and our team. We have introduced the Kindness Patrol Project whereby 2 hired professionals take to the forests, fields and communities to humanely sedate and catch animals in need of sterilization as well as suffering from injuries.
In the photos you will see little boy Dustin, found with his 5 siblings who were are suffering from mange and skin disease. Dustin was also suffering from rickets and a fractured leg. He was treated by our team and is in recovery.
In order to succeed we truly are desperately seeking your help....... the need is incredible and we are capable of helping, but we lack the funding.
