Imagine this: you are a rescuer and find a wounded dog on the road, your bill at the vet is already sky high but you would not let this poor dog suffer there . No way !! So we at Romania Animal Rescue have created ‘ Homeless Animal Hospital ‘ . A project that aims to help the homeless dogs and cats that need veterinary care in order to be placed for adoption or the animals that live in low income families and are in danger of being put to sleep or dumped because of financial issues. In account must be taken the pain and discomfort the medical conditions can cause to the cat or dog in need. So far in 2014 we have exceeded 1000 animals examined treated operated in this unique project.   One of our main goals is to minimize disease and medical discomfort through vaccination and preventive medicine which are the best tools we have. Another main point and maybe the most effective are sterilization campaigns. We have managed so far to perform over 33000 (thirty three thousand) surgeries in MASH like facilities or in our own facility in Craiova, Romania. We are making efforts that no unwanted pups or kittens come into the world as the future is not that bright – there are simply not enough homes for all dogs and cats and the streets are far from safe . A project like this needs and relies on the support of the general public as the need for free veterinary care is huge in Romania.

Thank you for supporting Homeless Animals Hospital projects in Romania.  Together, we are changing the fate of thousands!
