Dear Friends,

Homeless Animals Hospital is bussier than ever!   We are so grateful to have been chosen as Project of the Month for March by Global Giving!   Following a visit by Global Giving representative Kelly in February, we were bestowed with the honor to be chosen.   Thank you Kelly and Global Giving!

Let me catch you up with just a bit of the latest news.   Romania Animal Rescue just completed our spayathon in Craiova at the Homeless Animals Hospital for 625 free spays/neuters that ran from May 17-25.   HAH welcomed animals from all over the region, and our van traveled hours to pick up dogs and cats from villages who were in need of spay/neuter and veterinary care, including deparasiting.   This brings our total in Romania close to 37,000 free spays/neuters, and thousands of animals helped with injuries, vaccines, skin problems, etc.

During our campaign. a number of dogs and puppies were brought in.....2 found dumped on the road by the Dream Team of Oliviu and Frank, one found in the town center with a broken leg, and a puppy abandoned at a bus stop in Craiova.   Also, a dog suffering from horrible vomiting and diarrhea was brought in, and abandoned, at the clinic by his owners.    All these dogs, and more, were able to recover from injuries as well as have foster care and plans for adoptions set up with our wonderful colleagues from Craiova, the UK, Germany and Austria.   Volunteers came from the USA, UK, Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, and Norway.  All pitching in for one great cause....helping the animals to lead better lives.

Please read our the new  blog about the campaign, view photos, and see Dr. Aurelian's video, the Kindest Cut.

Thank you for your support......without it we could do nothing.

Wishing you all the best!
