Thank you for your continued attention and support to the Retrieve the Pearl Program. This letter reports our project progress from June to October 2026.
Project Implementation We are thrilled to share the inspiring Gaokao results of our 2026 cohort Pearl Students. This year, 5,619 Pearl Students sat for the national college entrance examination. The special control line admission rate reached 65.01%, while the undergraduate admission rate stood at 91.96%. In addition, over 19,000 Pearl Students are still pursuing their high school studies and receiving ongoing support from our program.
From September to October, our foundation team has been carrying out site visits to partner schools. We meet with teachers and Pearl Students on campus, keeping track of their academic performance and daily life, learning about their needs, and making sure our support reaches them steadily.
Fundraising Status To date, we have raised a total of $18,011 through GlobalGiving. In the previous year, RMB 30,000 (around $5,000) was allocated to support four Pearl Students from the 2025 intake. The rest of these loving donations will go toward sponsoring 10 bright, needy Pearl Students in 2026.
None of these achievements would be possible without your kindness and steady support. Thank you for walking alongside these young dreamers and illuminating their path forward.
