Project Report | Dec 25, 2022
12-25-2022

By Shondra Muhammad | Deputy Executive Director

As we prepare to move forward into the new year, we are grateful that we have not suffered the direct impact of any further natural disasters. We continue to combat the spread of the coronavirus with distribution events for disposable masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer. Since August, we have distributed over 400 bottles of hand sanitizer, more than 1,500 children’s masks, and approximately 4,000 adult masks. Some of the events also included the distribution of approximately 300 cases of bottled water. We will continue to make PPE available to the community daily and have planned for 3 more events over the next week as we host Kwanzaa celebrations.
