GIVE THE GIFT OF KNOWLEDGE, February 2024
Iraqi Children’s Hope education program is still providing help and support to children who are struggling in school. Our main goal is to keep these children in school and to provide them with the support they need to succeed.
During the second quarter of the school year, I.C. Hope helped 52 students attend tutoring programs to get assistance with school assignments and to gain a good understanding of educational materials. Of the 52 students, 38 are in elementary school and 14 students are in middle school.
We partner with 4 learning centers to provide help for these students. In addition, seven I.C. Hope volunteer members support these students by cooperating with schools, with the children’s families, and by coordinating their transportation to and from the centers. Our children also receive extra learning support at the I.C. HOPE branch to make sure that assignments and school materials are done correctly.
Some students showed outstanding progress at school this year, and I.C. Hope honored those students by setting up an entertainment trip for them and by providing each student with a gift.
Without your support and generous donations, we could not have been this successful. We thank our supporters for helping us help our students to continue their education and to succeed!
Best regards,
Roz Fuller
