Respected Donor Namaste!!
A Story of Sohni .......
I am Sohni (Name Changed) and I am ten years old. I live in a poor inaccessible village, far away from the city with my family. I have my father, mother and one elder sister in my family. My father is working as daily wages labour and my mother is housewife. Me and my sister eat whatever my parents are able to feed us. We heard about so many nutritious foods in the school but never got a chance to taste those nutritious materials as because of the poor financial condition of my family. Apart from the nutritious food, we even do not have proper hygiene materials as we always use all the natural resources whatever possible for our hygiene.
One day Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan team members came to our school and went to the school administration to ask for intelligent but poor family economic conditions girls. Then all the girls from poor economic background were called and then RSKS team members took our names and asked us where we live and then after the school got over, RSKS Team members came to my home and did baseline survey. After some days, they came back to our school with nutrition kit and hygiene kit with themselves. First, they arranged a workshop for us in which we were told about the importance of nutritious food and hygiene in our lives. And then the distribution work was done while following social distancing.
I got very happy when I got to see the hygiene kit and nutrition kit as the nutrition kit contained soyabeans, black gram, oats etc. nutritious materials and the hygiene kit contained big water bucket, mug, hair oil, toothbrush, toothpaste etc hygienic materials. I went back to home with a big smile on my face and I also got to learn about the importance of nutritious food and hygiene in our lives. My parents were also happy to see all these materials and when the RSKS team came back to our house to get our feedback then me and my family thanked RSKS India and the donors through which this distribution work got possible.
On behalf of the beneficiaries, RSKS India would like to thank you for your generous donation to help them.
