An IMPACT !!****
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan has been working for health, livelihood education and nurturing of poor and helpless people with determination. RSKS conducts feedback and follow-up activities at times in order to measure the effect and impact of the efforts made by the organization in which we come to know about stories of success of the beneficiaries. Among all such success stories, we are going to share one in the report......
Rohan (Name Changed) aged 30 years is a physically challenged young man lives in Rajgarh village. Rohan lives with his old aged parents who were his support. His father grazed others cattles to earn little and Rohan stayed in the home felt helpless, even he depended on his parents for his daily routine works. When his mother got ill, he felt himself totally helpless. He also wanted to do some job like other normal young men, but he was unable to walk due to the disability. He became a victim of Polio since childhood from then he got disabled with his both legs.
over a year ago When Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan came to know about acute situations of Rohan, the organization took initiative to help him and with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation, RSKS helped him to be employed by giving him a tri-cycle with mobile shop. Rohoan modified the tri-cycle into a mobile shop so that he could be able to move and sell products in the village in order to get some earnings. RSKS also gave him other stuffs as chocholate, biscuits, toys, fancy items, etc. along with tri-cycle as the stock. Rohon, now moves in the streets of the village and sells the stock.
Now, Rohan has got a source of employment. Children chase his tri-cycle as they hear the voice of its ringing bell and buy sweets, chocholates, biscuits and other stuffs from Rohan that gets him earnings through which he helps her parents to run the family. Seeing the sudden changes in Rohan's life, his mother is so happy. Now, Rohan also lives a normal life like others and has become self-reliant no matter he is physically challenged for which Rohan's parents thank RSKS and GlobalGiving Foundation. Still, RSKS regular follows-up Rohan at times.
