We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.
One of the untouched issue of our society is the life of homeless old age women who are forced to leave homes at an old age by their own family members and they have to face hardships in old-age homes. As such women are abandoned in old age, they have to live alone. They find it so difficult to manage their meal. Such old age persons need love and affection in this age, which they don't have. When Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan came to know about such a woman, our activists got all her details.
66 years old Kanta residing at a slum of the city is disabled since birth. She is dumb and deaf. Her 68 years old husband lives with her. Her husband had paralytic attack 8 months before. They don't have any home and they could only manage a thatch for shelter where they live. They survive on the food given by neighbours to them. Their life at this age is full of hardships which they somehow survive.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan give a hand of help financially to them. The organization gave them 10 kg flour, pulses, rice, tea, sugar, spices, vegetables, etc. Seeing all the stuffs, they had smile over their faces and their eyes filled with water. The organization also gave them new clothes; pair of pants and shirt for Kanta's husband and saari for Kanta that made them so happy. The hugged our activists and prayed for them. As per Kanta and her husband our activists were angels for them and thanked Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and GlobalGiving Foundation from the bottom of the heart.
