My name is Kanha and I live in a distant village of the Ajmer city. I do labour to feed my family. I have my wife and three daughters in our family. A little while ago, I realized that I was becoming weaker than ever, when I visited to doctor, he asked me to have some diagonis and after seeing the reports I came to know that I have got infected from MDR T.B. Afterwards, I lost my weight gradually. I left doing labour that brought our family to face financial problems and I spent the savings in my treatment outside the village that made me flatbroke.
While getting treatment of MDR T.B., I became a beneficiary of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan's program under which I got protein diet every month that included soyaban, moong, gram, eggs, milk, protein bar, etc. The treatment from the hospital and the guidance of RSKS helped me to recover quickly. RSKS, with the help of GlobalGiving Foundation gave me protein diet regularly every month. I was not able to afford the expenses of the proteing diet, but RSKS bore all the expenses of my diet.
By getting regular treatment and consuming protein diet regularly I started recovering my health and also gained my weight. Now, after getting cured I have started doing my job (labour) and thus, I have come to the mainstream of the society again. RSKS and GlobalGiving Foundation supported my family when I was getting cured. Now, my family and I again live happily for which the entire credit goes to RSKS and GlobalGiving Foundation since their efforts not only saved my life but also looked after my family when I was not able to do the same. My family and I thank RSKS and GlobalGiving Foundation from the bottom of the heart for all they have done for us.
