At the last stage of life, people need support, care, love & affection along with balanced diet. But, it is often seen that at that stage of life old aged people are isolated and they don't get what they need at that time. Being isolated, their diet requirements are also not fulfilled that effects adversely their health.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, for the food security of such old aged women, took an initiative with the support of GlobalGiving & Donors. RSKS took responsibity of food security of seven such women in Majitiya village. The organization provided ration to the beneficiaries for the whole month including flour, lentils, rice, spices, oil, soap, etc. When the stuffs were given to the old-aged women, they all have smile on their faces.
The ration obtained with the support of GlobalGiving made the food security of the beneficiaries possible so that they may have meal for a day without any problem. Now, the old-aged women live with dignity and they no longer depend on their family members who abandoned them. An old-aged woman among them told our activists that her health was rapidly falling in the lack of required diet in time due to which she had to bear pain, but now the relief got from GlobalGiving Foundation and RSKS made her able to have food in time for which she thanked GlobalGiving, donors and RSKS and blessed us.
