Humanity; The Relief Campaign.....

A Warm Greeting from RSKS India !!

We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.....

Monsoon this year was very devastating for the slum area people and people who do not have cemented house. Due to heavy rainfall, these slum areas were filled with water. Not cemented house of these people were flooded with water and because of this these poor people became homeless. After this heavy rain, these poor people only had the sky as their roof and because of this they had food problem.

RSKS saw this heavy rainfall and started relief campaigns for this poor and deprived people. With the support given from GG, RSKS INDIA pointed out these slum areas and started relief campaigns in these areas. In the first stage of these relief campaigns, 2 times food was provided to these people. In the second stage, the people affected were pointed out and then mats and mosquito nets were distributed to them so that they can sustain their daily life activities.

RSKS INDIA also helped these poor deprived people by providing help in reconstruction of their homes and in this process all the local people also supported. Now they do have a roof over them and they have their own place to stay. All the affected people are very happy because of the help given by the donors and the GG as now they are able to do their daily life activities with ease. RSKS team member went to a monsoon affected person after this relief campaign and his words were as follow :-

My name is KISHAN and I live in a slum area nearby KAYAD. Due to the 4 day heavy rainfall our slums were filled with water and our homes drought with the water. After this we had food and shelter issue. At this time RSKS INDIA stood for humanity and started relief campaign in our area. RSKS INDIA provided us food and shelter and also mats and mosquito nets and because of these my family was able to sleep in night without any stress. I thank RSKS INDIA and GG for this work.
