Orphans experience emotional and psychological distress following the deaths of their parents, which leads to their poverty, their exploitation, and their loss of educational opportunities. RSKS India in this context came to know about a girl who had lost both of her parents earlier. His relatives were doing her marriage. RSKS India checked and confirmed the whole story by sending team members and verifying everything from the village official and the neighbors and then planned to provide some sort of gifts as daily use item for the orphan girl for her marriage which would be helpful to her in future.
RSKS India organized Support To Orphan Girl For Her Auspicious Wedding program in which the team went to the house of the girl child and did the baseline survey and before her marriage again went to her with so many useful gifts for her like home appliances, utensils, blankets, cloths and other daily useful materials. The village officials and the neighbors of the girl were also called in the program to provide blessings to the girls and show full transparency. The team members then explained her about the uses of everything and then also gave her best wishes for her marriage.
Through this program, the orphan girl felt the hands of her parents on her head. The girl got tears of happiness while watching these wonderful gifts for her. She felt that she is not alone and humanity is still alive. These home appliances, utensils, blankets and other daily useful materials would be helpful for her after her marriage. This program gave a wave of happiness on the face of everyone present at the program whether it be the relatives of the girl, neighbors, village administration people etc. The relatives of the girl also were very happy as they were not able to afford these things for her marriage but now the girl has got all these useful things. The girl, relatives and everyone present at the program thanked RSKS India for such a nice support. RSKS India team members gave their blessings to the girls which made a big smile on her face.
