There are many disabled living in the rural villages who even do not have proper things/machines which could support their disability and would make them work in a better way. This is because of their family’s and their own poor financial condition. RSKS India is working for the disabled welfare from many years under the areas of Education, Empowerment, Social Inclusion, Health. RSKS India team members benefit more than 470 disabled from 24 different rural areas every year and still whenever they hear about any other disabled then they always go to support that disabled too under the different areas through different schemes and support.
In this context, RSKS India team members got to know about an elderly disabled who was having mobilization problems and he was not able to go out anywhere in any functions, occasions, celebrations of the villages and also was even not able to move in his own house. He was disabled from both of his legs and his family members find it very difficult to move him from one place to another for the daily life activities and also they didn’t had much money to buy a Disabled moving chair for him. RSKS India team members asked the disabled and their family members about the documents and the problems and then after some day provided him the disabled chair which he needed the most to solve the mobilization problems which he was having.
The mobilization problems of the elderly disabled and their family members was solved through the disabled chair support from RSKS India. This program was only possible through the valuable support of donors like you. Now the family members of the disabled are able to move the disabled easily for his daily life activities and are not facing any sort of mobilization problems now. The elderly disabled who was not able to visit any place in his own village or attend any functions, occasions etc is now able to go anywhere he wants and his family members are able to take him at that place. The disabled person and their family members thanked the RSKS team and donors for this humanitarian work and gave best wishes.
