Tuberculosis is a disease which needs special requirement of nutritious food as well as regular intake of medicines or else it could become deadly for the person who is having this disease. However at the same time, there are many people who get benefit of medicines by the govt schemes but proper nutritious food to eat is on themselves but imagine the condition when a daily wages labour who is the only person in the family who is earning gets TB and is having a family of five. Now how could his wife could feed nutritious food to him and the children? This is not just the scenario of the daily wages labour, there are many more in this populated country who are unable to have proper nutritious food.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organized Nutritious Food Distribution to MDR & XDR TB Patients program. Through this program, RSKS India was able to provide healthy nutritious food to 10 TB patients every month and also tracked their health conditions from month to month. The healthy nutritious food materials were asked advise from the doctor and then it was given to the TB Patients for their speedy recovery. This program was done at the hospital and the TB patients were also verified from the hospital itself.
Through the Nutritious Food Distribution to MDR & XDR TB Patients program, 10 TB patients got healthy nutritious food materials to eat every month. Their health condition got improved which made their family members very happy. The family members of these patients had moments of happiness through this program as they did not have to worry for the arrangement of healthy nutritious food anymore. The medicines also did their work as the TB patients had eaten healthy nutritious food. The hospital administration as well as the family members of the TB patients thanked RSKS India team and the valuable donors from bottom of their heart and also said that this humanitarian work must not be stopped as it is beneficial for the TB patients whose financial condition is not so good.
