In many parts of India, marriage is still considered one of the most important events in a person's life, especially for women. However, there are still many families who struggle to afford the costs associated with marriage, which can be quite high. In rural areas, where poverty is rampant, it is even more challenging to arrange a wedding. In some cases, families may even have to resort to taking out loans to pay for a wedding. This was the case for a rural girl who was the only child of a disabled father and had no mother. Her family struggled to make ends meet, let alone afford the expenses of a wedding. It was a difficult situation for the family, and the girl's future looked in trouble.
Fortunately, RSKS India stepped in to help. RSKS India always provides support and assistance to individuals and families facing economic, social, and health challenges. RSKS India came to know about the girl and did baseline survey and found out the girl's situation and decided to support her in her wedding. RSKS India then provided her with a range of items, including silver anklets, a table fan, a sewing machine, lipstick, a bridal dress, blankets, and utensils. These items not only helped the girl to have a beautiful wedding, but also provided her with essential items that she could use to start her new life.
RSKS India helped to ensure that she was able to have a wedding and start a new chapter in her life, despite the financial challenges faced by her family. By providing her with essential items, RSKS India also helped to set her up for success in her new home. This support from RSKS India has also had a wider impact on the community. It showed that RSKS India is committed to supporting those who are most vulnerable, and who are willing to step in and help in times of need. The girl and her family members thanked RSKS India team from bottom of their heart.
