In rural areas, especially among poor families, children often lack basic necessities such as clothing, shoes, and socks. This can cause a number of problems, including discomfort, poor hygiene, and low self-esteem, which can affect their overall health and wellbeing. Additionally, it can create a financial burden on families who struggle to provide these basic needs to their children. It was seen in many rural Anganbadi school, where children were even not able to have dress, shoes and socks.
To address this issue, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organized dress, shoes, and socks distribution program at an kindergarten Anganbadi. The kindergarten Anganbadi is a rural child care center, where children from poor families come to learn, play and eat. The RSKS team identified this need through their baseline survey work and took the initiative to provide clothing, shoes, and socks to all the children at the kindergarten Anganbadi as they needed it the most. This whole work was done along with the kindergarten Anganbadi workers.
This program had a significant impact on the children's lives. They were able to receive basic necessities that they previously lacked, which helped improve their overall health and wellbeing. The children were happy and more confident with their new clothes and shoes. The program also had a positive impact on the Anganbadi worker who was happy to see her children happy and taken care of. This program not only provided basic needs to the children but also relieved the financial burden on their families. It ensured that the children can attend the kindergarten Anganbadi without any discomfort or hygiene problems. The initiative of RSKS India helped to create a positive and healthy environment for these children to grow and learn.
