We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.
There are many people in the world who are severe victims of T.B. Some people commit mistake to take the disease a minor one, but when the disease becomes fatal they have to loose their life. The victims loose weight rapidly during due to T.B. and in the lack of proper diet included protien, sometimes the victim dies.
For the sake of mankind, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation, distributed protied diet to 5 patients of MDR T.B. The protien diet included soyabean, pulses, green pulse, gram, protein bar, milk, etc. and the patients were happy to get the diet. The patients were not economically strong to afford such diet and due to which they were loosing weight rapidly. Now, all the patients will get protien diet which will help them to recover soon. On the ocassion of Diwali, the festival of lights, we visited to see the patients and gave them sweets as gift and wished them. Our activist had conservation with one of them. The brief of the conversation follows:
Shiva, resides in village Masooda, has been a victim of MDR T.B. for last one year. The financial conditions of his family doesn't allow him to afford protein diet and he could only have normal diet. But, for last 5 monts, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation, has been providing him protein diet by which he has got a rapid recovery from the disease. The disease reduced his weight, but now he has gained 4-6 kg out of the lost weight. He is now getting recovered gradually, for which Shiva thanks Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan along with GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors.
