Life in Puerto Rico these days is like living at a giant campground. About 72% of people have had running water restored, and every day positive changes are happening!
Amy, one of our amazing volunteers, is on the ground in Puerto Rico. She's working with Crisis Response International as a trained crisis responder, giving hope when it's most needed. She was able to bring 14 cloth diaper kits with her, as well as a feminine hygiene kit. These kits are the first we've distributed with C.R.I, and Amy will determine if and how we can continue to partner with them to help those in need.
Alysha, at our partner agency, The Rebecca Foundation-Puerto Rico, is keeping busy with relief work. She's been distributing cloth diaper kits for a few weeks now, and next week even more diaper kits will arrive. Regular communication is still a challenge, and she is so thankful for the help, support, and hope you are providing.
It is a joyous feeling to help those in need, as no one has ever made it through life without someone else's help. Thank you for partnering with us!
