Updates from our 4 schools in Uganda

Much progress in the construction work and many trainings conducted - exciting news for you from our project at 4 schools in Uganda!

Read here all of our achievements since July at 4 schools in the Otuke district in northern Uganda:

The construction of latrine blocks has begun and is already well advanced at the Amele and Oderokech schools.
School meal programmes have been launched in three of the four schools, supported by donations from parents.
The wells at the Alangi and Oderokech schools have been renovated and fenced in, so that not only the pupils but also the surrounding community can now benefit from clean drinking water.
Mental health training for teachers, parents and pupils has been successfully carried out, raising awareness of mental health, stress management and children's well-being.
The community has been actively involved in training on the Whole School Improvement Approach (WSIA) and WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), establishing hygiene and sanitation clubs and developing action plans for school improvement.
