By Halt Learning Poverty | Project Leader
Dear friends and family,
We hope this letter finds you well. As we welcome Madagascar summer season, we are excited to share with you some of the new initiatives we have planned for our community. We are committed to providing the best possible solutions and learning opportunities the community we are serving. We believe everyone deserve access to the resources and support they need to succeed, regardless of their background or financial situation.
To help us achieve this goal, we have pondered and decided to reactivate the fundraising campaigns to support various learning-related initiatives, such as the “Acquiring News Skills for Better Job”. To remove all confusions, all funds collected in "Acquiring New Skills For Today and Tomorrow" will be allocated here and the campaign will be deleted once it reaches $1000.
The Acquiring News Skills for Better Job's project seeks to promote creative thinking, independent reading skills, increase knowledge, stimulate creativity, etc. Despite high levels of primary school enrollment, nearly 60% of pupils in low-and-middle-income countries such as Madagascar are unable to read a simple, age-appropriate story by the end of primary school. Learning poverty means the inability to read and understand a simple text be the age 10. By providing activity books, we will encourage more love for reading. Reading for pleasure can be an important catalyst to inspire the readers' imagination, improve their academic abilities.
We are reaching out to our dedicated partners, volunteers, parents, alumni, and supporters to ask for your help in achieving our fundraising goals. Your generosity can make a significant impact on the lives of many, by providing participants with the best possible learning opportunities and prepare them for a bright future.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will be greatly appreciated and put to good use. We value your continued support. Thank you in advance for considering a donation and for committing to helping us create a brighter future for a better world.
With gratitude,
Halt Poverty team
