MEET participants

Like their counter parts in schools and community centres who normally participate in outdoor annual football events and outreaches for social development, vocational training candidates have developed their own share of indoor annual outreach event dubbed as Mrembo Economic Empowerment Trade fair (M.E.E.T) geared towards bringing together former graduates of football for social change who are also graduates of Hair and beauty , pastry and baking courses to showcase their gained employability skills to the invited guests including existing and potential employers from established hair and beauty shops and restaurants. A total of 7 graduates of Hair and Beauty and 6 graduates of pastry and baking had an opportunity to showcase their employability skills including the combination of football based activities coupled with economic empowerment messages to the audience.Take a look at the MEET impact

 My Vision

MEET SARAH ON HER NEW JOB

Coming from the ladders of VAP including a short stint as a Coach, 21 years old  Sarah graduated from the pastry and baking course and landed a job placement at jimlizer hotel www.jimlizerhotel.com which is quite a few metres from VAP headoffices.Driven and powered by the passion of football in her genes as a pillar for  her success, the sky is not the limit for Sarah as she is currently taking advanced courses to better her future career.”I would want to own my own restaurant and support other youth in achieving their goals.” Said Sarah.
