In June, we did a questionnaire with 762 children from the 8 different schools which receive our project “Stories Transforming the Future” in order for us to measure the impact the project is having in their lives and also in order to improve the quality of the work.
We did the market research using an online form which the children answered by themselves using a tablet connected to the internet.
As we can see from the graphic in the photograph below, on the whole, the children really like the activities we do with them.
The children were also asked about their reading habits and 88% said that they were reading more after participating in the project.
One of the strategies used by the teenagers with the children in the reading mediation is to invite one of the children to read a story to the rest of the class and this has become ever more common recently as can be seen in the photo above.
Then children also evaluated how they feel overall when we do the activities and 88.5% feel good, 11% normal and just 0.5% don’t feel good. We believe that this is a result not only of the diversity of activities that we do but also how well the teenagers relate to the children in an affectionate and fun way as can be seen in the other photographs.
We are extremely proud of the result of this questionnaire and the teenagers are feeling very stimulated in their work.
