Impuls'her Projects is the continuity of our previous similar project called Empowering Womens Projects, which was successfully financed through Globalgiving. Impuls'her took its first steps in September 2018 and aims to accompany almost 30 girls in the serach for a better future.
In Cameroon, the project is up and running. 11 teenagers and young women agreed to integrate the first edition of "Impuls'Her Projects". Classes now take place two days per week in two homes (an orphanage and a home for women that have been incarcerated). Local and international tutors and volunteers are teaching the fundamentals of entrepreneurship such as Economy, Entrepreneurship and Accounting, but also Women's Rights and soft skills.
In Bolivia, the project will begin in March 2019. The Center for survivors of sexual abuse in the town Cochabamba has a specific organisation which do not allow us to begin the projects before the beginning of 2019 because a lot of new girls arrive at the centre at the beginning of the year and need some time to settle down into their new home. As we decided to wait a few months to begin the project, the team has had time to prepare the details and prepare the local tutors, psychologists etc that will be a part of the project.
