Digital literacy session in Public Library

Thanks to the donations received through GlobalGiving to our project “Inclusion for People with Disabilities in Colombia” we have being able to continue training and strengthening social organizations that work with people with disability.

We were in the León de Greiff Library in the sector La Ladera where we trained population with sensory hearing impairment. The purpose of this digital literacy session was the social inclusion and socio-cultural integration of people with disabilities in the activities carried out in the Library. It also sought to develop skills to enable these people to take advantage of the technology freely offered in the Library. Alejandra Serna, a specialized trainer with hearing impairment, gave this session.

We are pleased to tell you that through the five years this project has been running we have been able to benefit 1754 people providing them with ICT trainings that with foster their development opportunities allowing them to grow at an economic, recreational and persona level.
