Dear Supporters,
Australia is a rich and prosperous country, but it also has a problem of Indigenous youth overrepresentation in the justice system. We believe that this is unacceptable and that we can do something about it.
That’s why we are partnering with the University of New South Wales and some Indigenous communities to provide support and opportunities for young people at risk of entering the criminal system. We have listened to their needs and aspirations, and we have developed a plan to help them.
One of the main needs is to have a safe and comfortable meeting place for the young people, where they can access drinking water, shade, and other facilities. The university will help us with research and advocacy, but we need your help to build this space. Action Change, a nonprofit organisation, will raise money to make this project possible.
Once we have this space, we will empower young leaders to engage their peers and offer them alternative activities and education. Our goal is to reduce the number of young people who resort to crime and to increase their chances of success.
Please join us in this mission to create positive change for the Indigenous youth of Australia.
Thank you so much for your support.
