Fortaleciendo la organizacion, produccion y la venta de la miel melipona

Con el objetivo de fortalecer los meliponarios para contar con producción de miel suficiente que permita su venta y trasformación para capitalizar a las socias del proyecto, se capacitaron en los siguientes temas: (Foto 1)

  • Biología y la diversidad de las abejas
  • Alimentación de las abejas y control de plagas
  • Llenado de formatos de trazabilidad (registro para el control y manejo del meliponario)
  • Seguimiento técnico para la implementación de Buenas Prácticas para el manejo y cuidado de los meliponarios
  • Acompañamiento técnico en la producción de productos transformados de la meliponicultura: cremas, shampoo y jabones.

Comercialización de Productos:

La marca Kante Botik, nace en el 2022 como una alternativa para la comercialización de los productos que realizan los grupos de mujeres que participan en el programa, dirigido a un público más exigente, como marca de lujo. La marca conjunta los esfuerzos de venta a nivel local cada uno de los grupos y la comercialización regional/nacional que se realiza bajo una marca que posee una imagen competitiva, acorde con las tendencias de consumo. Acciones realizadas para el diseño de la marca:

  • Se trabajó con un equipo de especialistas que diseñaron de manera colaborativa el concepto y diseño de la marca.
  • Definición de los productos que integraran el kit
  • Se trabajó en la presentación y marca de los productos
  • Diseño de las etiquetas para los productos que se comercializaron en el mercado

Por último, se inauguró una tienda fisica que está ubicada en el Municipio de Calkiní, Campeche,   en la cual se comercializarán los productos derivados de la miel de los grupos del Estado de Campeche. (Foto 3)

Organization strengthening, production and transformation of products derived from melipona honey

With the aim of strengthening meliponaries to have sufficient honey production which allows its sale and transformation to capitalize the Project partners, the following workshops were held: (Photo 1)

  • Biology and bees diversity
  • Bee feeding and pest control
  • Filling of traceability formats (registration for the contraol and management of the melipolinary)
  • Technical monitoring for the implementation of good practices for the management and care of melipolinaries.
  • Technical support for the production of processed meliponiculture products: creams, shampoo and soaps.

Marketing of products:

The Brand Kante Botik, born in 2022 as an alternative for the marketing of products made by women’s groups that participate in the program. This brand is aimed for a more demanding public since it is a luxury brand. The brand combines the sales afforts of each of the groups. The regional/national marketing is carried out under a brand that has a competitive image according to the consumer trends. (Photo 2)

Actions carried out for the brand design:

  • We worked wit a team of specialists who collaboratively designed the concept and brand design.
  • Definition of the products that will integrate the kit
  • We worked on the presentation and branding of the products
  • Label design for products placed on the market
