Project Report | Feb 7, 2024
Let's start the year with a lot of magic!

By Sofia Garcia and Cristina Diaz | Manager and Voluntary

Let’s start the year with a lot of magic!

During the month of January, we embarked on a crucial phase in our commitment to educational excellence by implementing training sessions for our facilitators. With great enthusiasm, our facilitators actively participated in sessions designed to equip them with updated teaching methods and innovative strategies. The primary goal of these training sessions is to enhance the skills and knowledge of our facilitators, promoting an enriching educational environment for our students.

Focusing on continuous improvement, these sessions aim not only to strengthen the technical competence of facilitators, but also to cultivate an increase in their personal confidence. We understand that confidence in pedagogical skills is fundamental for effective performance in the classroom. Therefore, this training seeks to empower our educators, providing them with the necessary tools to face educational challenges with strength and creativity.

We firmly believe that the development of skills and confidence among our facilitators will directly translate into more efficient and effective performance in the classroom. This approach not only benefits our educators, but also positively impacts the educational experience of students. By continuing to invest in the continuous improvement of our team, we are laying the foundation for a dynamic and ever-evolving educational environment.

Here are some of our 2024 goals!

  • We served over 325 boys and girls.
  • 3 Training sessions for our entire team in suitable locations.
  • Additional training sessions for our Community Coordinators to provide them with more tools and reinforce their knowledge.
  • Fair stipends for our entire team to ensure they feel valued.
  • Nutritional supplement for all our classrooms, for 12 months.
  • Sufficient didactic materials for our classrooms.
  • Teamwork with local schools through strategic alliances.
  • And many more!

We still have many more goals we wish to achieve. We want to keep growing! We are an organization that always looks towards the future, always looks towards where we can help the most. Help us continue to overcome challenges and reach new goals for a better tomorrow!

With gratitude,

Magical Classroom Guatemala
